Music Bio

Piano was my first love (at 4 years old), but for family reasons, I was forced to gave up at the age of 6.

I was sort of blocked for music until the age of 16, when I sold an old violin to buy my first guitar. In the following years I learned how to play guitar and bass. and played (guitar and bass) in a Catholic church orchestra and with friends on a amateur rock band.

Between 1974 and 1982 I played Bass at various rock bands, the latest one being NZZN, a very well known 80's Portuguese Heavy Metal band.

Since 31st July 1983 and for the next 20 years, my music life was maintained in a somewhat "suspended animation" due to personal and professional reasons, but in 2003 I had the chance to "animate" it again, and after 43 years, I went back  to keyboards, beginning to learn "from scratch" how to play and a bit later beginning composing my own music. Playing and composing is one of my Hobbies.

Due to be living a "music slam" phase during the whole 2022 and the first half of 2023, I've actually downscaled my rig to a minimum, just enough to get me playing/making music, whenever I'm up to.

​

I have a big number of songs composed over the years, but due to lack of time and a  stable equipment, I have just a few songs published, but as I have more available time now, I hope to be able to finish and publish a few more in 2024. Let's see what the future brings...
